POSH Girls v Mummies

This is certainly not a match to miss. Mum's of the POSH Girls have decided to dig out their shorts and challenge the POSH Girls in a match to raise money for the club. The match will be played on Saturday 22nd December against players in the U13s squads. Details of the Mum's training sessions appear to be top secret and who ever has the unfortunate job of managing the side will certainly have their work cut out! Hopefully the Mum's have been watching the girls matches carefully and have their tactics sorted although for their first match as a squad the really have picked tough opponents!! Good luck Mums.

POSH Girls FC looking for new sponsors

POSH Girls Development Centre are on the look out for new sponsors. As a growing project open to all young players across the city of Peterborough and Huntingdon this is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get involved with the biggest growing sport for girls in the UK. We have produced three sponsorship packages all of which includes advertising on theposhgirls.co.uk website. Most of the staff are volunteers and with over 40 girls already involved the coaching centre has many plans to develop over the next year. POSH Girls looking forward to Christmas Match

Friday 21st December POSH Girls will travel to Kings Lynn to play in another exciting match against Kings Lynn Advanced Centre and Norwich Girls. Details will be sent to players over the next week!

Presentation & Parade at Peterborough United

On Tuesday 31st July POSH Girls were invited to attend the pre-season match at Peterborough United against Birmingham. Luke Weston had arranged for the girls to enjoy the match from one of the boxes and at half time were invited onto the pitch. Here they were presented with their trophies which they won at the end of last season and then proceeded to do a lap of honour around the pitch in front of the all the fans. At first the girls were a little shy but this soon changed as the fans at Peterborough United gave the girls a fantastic round of applause and cheers, even a few whistles!! They were only supposed to do one lap of honour but the girls got swept along with the crowd cheers and decided they would do another. I'm sure it won't be long before they have their own following - better get practicing your autographs girls!
