U11s Fenland League Whittlesey (6) v POSH Girls (1)
Posh Girls U11's Fenland League rolled out a good performance in a 6-1 defeat to Whittlesey Jnrs.
This was the Fenland U11's 1st actual game together as they met their established opposition. Whittlesey had the majority of the chances throughout the game & the tally might have been more if it were not for acrobatic & agile Natasha Stubbs in goal for Posh. However, the new U11's dug in & showed a gritty 2nd half performance that they can be proud of.
The future is full of opportunities for these girls as they improve their skills & knowledge of the game & benefit from the experience of the coming games together. Well done!
Manager: Justine Steele. Players: Natasha Stubbs • Olivia Nunziata • Ellie Ireson • Kirstie Davis • Katherine Amps • Alexa Hunter • Georgina Parrett • Jessica Amps • Rebecca Bowe • Stephania Chaudhuri
U11s S-Tech League POSH Girls (6) v Sawtry Girls (0)

In the 1st half Georgie Elsom broke the deadlock just before a 1/4 of an hour with a super strike that flew in off the post.
Gathering momentum in the 2nd half Posh piled on the pressure & generated chances as a team which saw Alessia Mundo net twice & Megan Parrett claim a hat-trick in her 1st league appearance for Posh Girls.

U13s Fenland League March Rangers (8) v POSH Girls (1)
Saturday 8th September saw POSH Girls U13s Fenland side away at March Rangers. In their first game of the season POSH Girls struggled to keep the attacking March Rangers at bay. At half-time it was 6-0 but the POSH Girls who showed fantastic passion and determination pulled a goal back early in the second half. A great strike at the far post by Danielle Perkins saw the team grow in confidence and many more opportunities were made. Unfortunately they couldn't produce the end product and the final score was 8-1. Despite this POSH Girls U13s showed great promise and the future looks very exciting!
