U11s Fenland League Deeping Diamonds(8) v POSH Girls(2)

Fenland U11 POSH Girls travelled to last seasons league runners up Deeping Diamonds. Olivia Nunziata and Ellie Ireson were outstanding in defence as POSH were unlucky to concede the first goal after 5mins. Deeping could find no way through until the 25min when they made it 2. In the second half Deeping produce 4 goals in the first 6mins to give themselves an unatainable lead, however the POSH Girls showed resolve and competitive spirt as they never gave up the fight. Through positive team play Alexa Hunter forced an own goal and found one of her own to make the final score 8-2.

U11s S-Tech League Histon Hornets (0) v POSH Girls (8)

S-Tech under 11 girls played Histon Hornets away and maintained their unbeaton record with an 8-0 win. Alessia Mundo opened the scoring by collecting a rebound from Maria Butler's effort who was superb in midfield. Tiesha Bennett was cool, calm and collected in defence as POSH kept possession and left Katy Plumb in goal with little to do. Mundo's final tally was 4 while perkins made sure of a hat-trick and Parrett stole 1. POSH face Comberton Crusaders at home this week.

U13s S-Tech League POSH Girls (6) v Waterbeach (0)

It was a pleasing performance by the POSH Girls under 13s in their second league game at home to Waterbeach. The first half saw the POSH Girls have most of the possession in their attacking half which gave them a 2-0 advantage at the half time whistle. A confident and strong back four led by Lauren Brown dealt swiftly with any Waterbeach player entering into the POSH Girls defending half. With a couple of changes at half time and with the POSH Girls playing the ball on the floor they confidently picked out good passes and saw more balls hit the back of the net. Another good result for the girls. Final score 6-0.
