U11s Fenland League March Rangers (2) v POSH Girls (1)
U11 Posh Girls faced March Rangers Hearts away in the Fenland League. Alexa Hunter rewarded Posh's excellent display of football in the 1st half with a powerful run from the halfway line, firing home a shot into the top right hand corner.
Posh started the 2nd half well, creating plenty of chances but were unable to add to their tally. Despite playing some excellent football the visitors conceded 2 late goals and March were able to snatch the win. Georgina Parrett earned special praise from manager Laura Griggs for her work on the wing.

U11s S-Tech League Bishops Stortford (1) v POSH Girls (2)
Bishops Stortford hosted the Posh Girls U11's in the S-Tech. The home side rattled Posh as they found the back of the net promptly after only one and a half minutes play.
An awakened Posh did find the equalizer from Keir Perkins as she ran at the opposition and neatly slotted home, but Bishops Stortford predicted play well and piled on pressure of their own.
Katie Plumb was on form in goal as she put on a brave and convincing display to keep the home team at bay and Tiesha Bennett played some lovely balls to the midfield.
The final goal came for Posh in the 2nd half as striker Keir unselfishly flashed a ball across the area for Georgie Elsom to happily finish as Posh went in front for the first time.
Plumb continued to guard the visitors goal confidently and Posh will be relieved to hold on to their unbeaten record. Final score Bishops Stortford 1 Posh 2.

U13s Fenland League Stamford (1) v POSH Girls (1)
Posh U13's in the Fenland League travelled to Stamford to what was always going to be a tough match. Both teams started brightly and played with a competitive spirit. Although the 1st half saw no goals the spectators were not to be disappointed with what an exciting game this would be.
In the 2nd half the excitement continued with Posh carving out an opening for Kirsty Hall to finish as Abbey Goymour was valient in midfield to win an against the odds ball and deliver a wonderful cross into the box.
Stamford left it till the last minutes to reply prompting Posh to respond with a number of closely missed opportunities and will feel that the 3 points were snatched from their grasp as the final score remained 1-1.
However, the Posh Girls should be delighted with their performance as they showed they can be a positive force on the field and play passionate and determined football. Well done girls!

U13s S-Tech League POSH Girls (3) v Comberton (3)
Posh met Comberton Crusaders U13s at home on Saturday for what believed to be a tough match. In the first few minutes of the game it was clear that Comberton were very well organised at the back and with a nervous start by the Posh girls breaking down Comberton was looking tricky. After ten minutes into the match the Posh Girls started to pick out their passes and Stacie Heron struck the ball cleanly into the back of the net. Good pressure from the Posh back four and midfield players prevented Comberton driving forward into our defending third. A powerful strike from Posh Girls centre back Georgia Campbell-Turner from the half way line saw the ball bounce high in front of Comberton's keeper and then find the goal. We then saw Comberton break through the field and attack the game with a chance on goal Comberton's striker took one touch to hit the target. However Sarah Galpin was in a good position to bat away the chance only to see the ball come straight back at her with which she hit the floor only to have the ball stolen and placed into the net. Comberton then put up the pressure to score another two goals in quick succession. Posh failing to play their game gave away simple balls back to the feet of the Comberton players who attacked quickly. Gaining some composure and as usual never prepared to give up the fight the Posh Girls broke free, on form Stacie Heron received the ball and was left one on one with goalkeeper keeping calm struck the ball finding her second goal of the match. A well earned point for both teams making the final score 3-3.
