Hampton College

Peterborough United’s Girls Development Centre is based at Hampton College in Hampton Vale. Hampton College have shown our centre massive support and we are extremely lucky to have such excellent facilities.

Hampton College opened in September 2005 with their first phase completed the second phase which will include a sixth form is due to open in 2009.

Along with Peterborough United’s Girls Development Centre which train and use the pitches at the weekend, Peterborough United’s Centre of Excellence also share the facilities.

Our Community, Your Community...

We are very keen that Hampton College should be at the heart of community life in Hampton. We currently provide a programme of adult learning in partnership with Peterborough College of Adult Education (Brook Street). There is a stage school for young people on Saturday mornings, and plenty of use of the sports facilities by young people and adults during the evenings and at weekends. We hope to be able to bring a number of events to the college, and to enrich community life in Hampton as the college develops and grows.

Adult Learning courses are held on Thursday evenings at the college and are run by Peterborough College of Adult Education (PCAE). For further details please contact PCAE on 01733 247907.

Kay’s Academy of Performing Arts runs every Saturday morning from 9.30am to 12.30 pm at Hampton College. It is for both girls and boys aged from 6 to 16 years old. There is an hour of singing, an hour of dancing and an hour of drama. For details contact Kay on 01733 247907 or 07738 736740

POSH Girls Football Coaching Centre is based at Hampton College and is open to girls aged 7 to 14 years. The girls train at the college during the week and the number attending each week is on the increase! Fixtures are played on Saturday mornings. The centre is run by female FA qualified coaches. POSH Boys Centre of Excellence is also based at Hampton College and their youth teams train here during the week and on Saturday mornings, with fixtures played most Sundays.
